2 Feb 2010 101 List update; six tasks completed

[Lists] While I was in Argentina I managed to knock off half a dozen items from my 101 Things in 1001 Days list:

84) Watch A Scanner Darkly

84) Watch A Scanner Darkly
Man this was disappointing. I had a feeling that this movie was not going to match up to the book. This had some good things, like the actors were perfect and the animation film style suits the story. However the story got changed too much and I never got the feeling of Arctor going insane like I did when reading the book. If only they stayed closer to the original material.

28) Watch a sunset

28) Watch A Sunset
This was taken on one of the many bus rides I took whilst travelling through Argentina.

27) Watch a sunrise

27) Watch A Sunrise
Taken at around 05:43 at Valeria Del Mar in Argentina. At first I was afraid that I was not going to see the sun through the haze in the distance, but the haze only added to the excitement I had when I saw the sunrise in the horizon. I genuinely felt giddy watching this.

4) Go to a foreign beach

4) Go To A Foreign Beach
Taken at Valeria Del Mar in Argentina, with two of the hottest chicas in Argentina. No joke.

3) Visit the North and South of Argentina

3) Visit The South Of Argentina
One part of my two-part challenge of visiting the North and South of Argentina. This photo was taken on a disposable camera because I forgot to charge my digital camera. Rubbish!

34) Have at least ten 5 minute conversations purely in spanish

I want to thank all the people (friends, their family, random strangers) that engaged me in conversation entirely in Spanish. I wasn't 100% accurate but every Spanish conversation I have gets me one step closer to chatting up a Spanish speaking chica with confidence. I will continue to increase the tally until the end of the 101 challenge.

So my current score is 19.5 completed tasks and 1 failed task.
