1 Jan 2005 A public house charging entry? No!!
The bloody cheek! What's a guy gotta do to get drunk around here?? New Years Eve me and my friends tried to do a pub crawl thing to end up at one pub for a final destination, and do the whole countdown thing. Nearly every pub on the street was charging people to get in.
Charging people!! We eventually found a pub that weren't charging at the door and we settled there for the whole night. Nice place and all in all it was fun, but that's not the point I'm making.
Now I expect that kind of charging for a nightclub, but a pub? It's wrong in every sense. It's even illegal for a pub to charge entry (or so I hear). Besides it's a pub, a
public place for everyone to go. Some tried to
justify the charge by saying things like "It's for charity, some of the money will goes towards the
Tsunami Appeal".
BULL-SHIT! We all know you're trying to cash in!
I think next time I should hire our a ma-hoosive warehouse, a couple of DJ and their sound systems, and jam pack it full of friends and random people on the street I like the look of. And I'll charge them nothing to get in. Take that you money-grabbing law breakers!
Oh by the way, Happy New year everyone. ^_^
