15 Dec 2004 Blade Trinity Movie Review
It's not uncommon for wrestlers to do movies after they become a household name in the ring. After all
The Rock has been in several films,
Edge made a brief appearance in
Highlander: End Game and who could forget the 'fine' performances of
Hulk Hogan's career. But what I found out earlier this evening still managed to surprize me when I was at the cinema to watch the new movie.
Triple H; The Game™ (pronounced 'Gaaaa-eeee-mmma!' for all you WWE fans out there) is in Blade Trinity!
What's just as shocking is that Triple H got quite a big role, being the main hired goon for the main vampire lady bitch of the movie. He talks a lot and lasts pretty much up to the end of the film. They musta paid big bucks for that kind of cameo appearance.
..... Oh yeah, the movie. Well it was alright I guess. Good fight scenes, but it's another movie where you REALLY should turn off mentally or you'll pick picking holes at all the way through. And good God it is so cheesy, the guy who kept making wise-cracks; he made me want to hurt him. It was just too much.
I could probably pick more holes in the movie if I read the Blade comics from Marvel. But I don't, so they're safe, for now.
Definately not a go-to-cinema experience. Wait for the DVD if you must.
GRAX RATING: 2/5 (Another sequal that's fallen into the trap of crappy ends of trilogies)
