22 Feb 2005 Dreams of War, Death, Loneliness and Friends

[Dream] I had a dream the other night.

I dreamt that I was in a war, stuck behind enemy line in a sand-dug trench with my comrads. The enemy was japanese men dressed in World War 1 Nazi uniforms and they each had rocket launchers that had a delayed explosion on them. Fortunately I had one of these rocket launchers too. I was totally whupping their asses! Then one of them got a lucky shot and it was about to go off. To save the rest of the squad I sacrificed myself and smothered the rocket with my body.

I then woke up in a fairly modern shopping center-type place. I knew what I had done. I knew I was dead. I started to feel sad. Then my ex-girlfriend phones me on my mobile phone. I start babbling to her saying things like "I'm so glad to hear from you", "I'm dead", "I'm alone and afraid", etc etc. The thing is I know that my ex is dead too (even though she is alive and well in real life) so I figured she had to be here in this shopping-center-type place somewhere. So I start looking for her.

During the search I start getting all scared, emotional and sad, about being dead and alone and everything. Then out of the blue I see my old mate, Phil, who in this instance has his long hair, even though he cut his hair a few years ago in real life. I run to him and start babbling about how I'm glad to see someone I know and that I was so alone, etc. I ask Phil if he want to join me in find other people I know and he agrees. Later on we both find Phil, except this is Phil with his current short hair. So there's old long-hair Phil standing next to new short-hair Phil. At the same time.

Then I was suddenly outside the shopping center (you know, that good old transaction process that seems to happen instantly for no reason) on my own one again. The surroundings are quite industrial looking, though by no means dirty or evil looking. After a little exploring I see my other friend Si. He walking with his mates and he doesn't notice me. I start running and shouting at him to get him to notice me.

Then I wake up for real.

Intregued by this I went to Dream Moods.com for a possible solution:

I haven't had a chance to properly analyse this yet. If anyone else want to have a crack at it then feel free and let me know what you think.

Gravatar Hey! =) Oi, I've never analyzed a dream of mine. Simple because there's nothing really to analyze - mine are always a whole bunch of useless random stuff jammed into a few seconds... like this one time, I dreamt I was running away from evil teletubies - and I murdered them by making them drown in this jello-like green goo. *is proud*. *rolls eyes*. I really, REALLY shouldn't eat before bed. Oi.

Anyways, thanks for your comment, I fixed your link! =) Sorry about that!

Rockon.
