22 Nov 2005 Mystery Package
I received a package through the post while I was on holiday. It's a fictious book called
Knees up Mother Earth by Robert Rankin. I don't know what it's about but its little blerp says that it's a story featuring magic, time travel, and football.
The weird thing is, I have no idea who sent it to me. It didn't come with a note of any kind, no markings, nothing. The only clue that I had was the handwriting on the envelope. I asked my family and some friends if they sent me the book but they had nothing to do with it. The other weird thing is, according to the postage stamp, it came from Wales. Who the hell do I know in Wales?? I've even checked my bank statements to see if I bought the book when I was drunk. Nothing.
The can only think of two things; first off somebody bought it for me as a gift and didn't tell me (but then how do they know my exact address). Second it was some mystical, devine intervention by something 'larger than life', and I have to read it as it has some significant message to it.
Oh well. It might be a good read, even though I don't like football.
20 Nov 2005 IDONWANNAGOBACK!
That's the faint sound of the common animal "whooping slacker", which it cries whenever its hibernation season is over.
I'm back from my holiday in Cordoba. I won't go into too much detail because that would be too long. But it's safe to say that I had a great time, despite not being able to speak hardly any spanish. I did make notes on it though so I may just write it out for y'all. My foreign friend/hostess was very nice to me, as was her family, friends, and just about anyone else she introduced me to. It was weird, I'm not really use to such friendlyiness from near strangers. I'm not sure if it's because I was english and thus they treated me like a celebrity, or it's due to the fact that english people tend to be somewhat racist and anti-social. Either way I like it and it makes me want to come back sometime soon.
Maybe I could start a Paypal charity of some sort...
Anyway, I've taken some photos of the experience and if I get enough time I'll knock up some sort of holding page for all to see. They're not that interesing really, just lots of shots of me.
Oh that reminds me. I made a promise while I was in Argentina and I aims to keep it. These pictures below are some of the kids that my friend teaches english to. They a rowdy bunch of little punks, but they're good overall. Thanks for inviting me over.

That older girl in the second picture is the hostess I was staying with. She's fit, isn't she? ^_^
7 Nov 2005 Hola, buenos dias
Morning folks. Here I am in sunny Cordoba, Argentina.
IŽve been here for about 24 hours now. During that time (and a bit before) I been cramped into a plane next to a fat man that stank of a public toilet for 12 hours, tried to sleep in a freezing foreign airport for 8 hours, realise how much spanish I DONŽT know and how fustrating it is not being able to talk to people, found out that Argentinian road are quite chaotic (to put it nicely), that my hostess is quite fantastic, and that I hate this stinking pseudo-spanish keyboard layout where the keyboard is english, but some of the important keys like the "at" symbol is put somewhere else that I canŽt find! So far so good.
I doubt IŽll be able to write anymore until I get back in two weeks time, in which IŽll tell you more detail. In the meantime, try to picture me having a great time sorrounded by beautiful women who want me.
Adios.
